Window Arts Malden, the flagship Malden Arts project is scheduled to take place
September 21-October 12, 2014 and celebrating its 9th season.

Window Arts Malden matches artists with Downtown Malden locations (storefronts and other appropriate sites) where they will exhibit their work.
Artists were asked to consider the specific business’s window space for their final window design.

An Artist Stroll on Thursday September 25th, from 4:30-7:00 pm will provide an opportunity for participants and interested residents to socialize and celebrate the arts in Malden. Gather on City Hall Plaza at 4:30 pm for a ribbon cutting by Mayor Gary Christenson, followed by live music up and down the streets, with local artists at their windows from 5:00-7:00. Window Arts Malden will infuse the city’s center with quality art, stimulate activity and commerce in the downtown area, and strengthen community bonds around the arts.
